All Blog Report: Examining the Role of Funding Intermediaries in Indonesia
We’re excited to share the findings from our latest research in partnership with Menjadi, which explores how funding intermediaries operate in Indonesia’s development landscape—and how they can better support the organizational development of local civil society organizations (CSOs).
This study draws on the experiences of local CSOs, national and international intermediaries, and funders, highlighting key challenges, tensions, and opportunities within Indonesia’s funding ecosystem.
Through this research, we aim to spark a more grounded and collaborative dialogue about what local CSOs need, and how funding intermediaries can act not just as financial channels but also as meaningful partners in strengthening civil society.
